Karen is responsible for overseeing the firm's daily operations, office administration, and client service support functions. Since joining the firm in 2012, she has led numerous operational improvement initiatives, implemented efficient processes and systems, and helped create a seamless experience for clients and team members alike. Through her collaborative leadership and commitment to excellence, Karen supports the firm's growth by ensuring operational efficiency, service quality, and a productive workplace environment.
Karen earned her BBA in Marketing, Management, and Human Resource Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa at the Shidler College of Business. Karen coached high school girls and boys swimming for nine years and continues to help the OIA swimming program as an OIA Meet Manager. With a swimming background herself, Karen specialized in backstroke and freestyle.
During her free time she enjoys being outdoors, reading, crocheting, watching film reactions, trying new foods and hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.
